Our Summer of Science is in full swing! Little Scientists will explore the wonders of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with fun activities led by our education staff!

June: Exploring Color

July:  Technology & Sensory Play

 July 18th: Sensory day with bubbles and ice block excavation

August: Bug Blow-Out!
August 1st:  Meet live bugs, bug themed book reading, sculpt a model, and examine a bug under a microscope.

Ages: 6 years and up

Join our visiting Digital Animation instructor, Martha Soto, and learn stop-motion basics using a smart phone or tablet as your camera. There will be endless possibilities for movie-making with the museum as your backdrop and provided props for use. A limited number of iPads will be available, but please feel free to bring your own iPad or iPhone to use. A small fee of .99 may apply to download the app to your device.
