Emergency Preparedness
The City of La Habra uses AlertOC to keep those who live or work in our city informed of important information during emergency events.
The recent earthquakes in Haiti, Chile and Mexico, and locally in Pico Rivera, should serve as reminders to those of us in La Habra that a significant earthquake is always a possibility. Are you prepared?
ReadyOC is a Countywide campaign to inform residents and businesses about the importance of preparing for an emergency, whether it be from natural causes, health-related, or man-made. ReadyOC is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and is managed by the City of Anaheim, the City of Santa Ana, and the Orange County Sheriff's Department. The City of La Habra is a partnering agency. To access ReadyOC information and resources, please visit
