Donate to Charlie Company 426
For the past several years, residents and non-profit organizations in the City of La Habra have donated items to be sent to our adopted military unit Charlie Company 426. This medic unit has recently been re-deployed to Afghanistan.American Legion Names Police Officer, Firefighter of the Year
Annually, American Legion Post #267 recognizes a Police Officer and Firefighter of the Year. This year's recognition luncheon was held on Tuesday, February 16th at the Elks Lodge.Charlie Company 426 Sends Information on New Commander
Through the America Supporting Americans program, the City of La Habra has adopted Charlie Company 426 of the 101st Airborne Division, the "Screaming Eagles". The City is proud to support the men and women serving in the armed forces, and we are grateful to Charlie Company 426 and all those individuals on active duty. Charlie Company 426 is a medic unit under the leadership of Commander Amy Swiatecki-McCabe.Donations Requested for Charlie Company 426
Beginning November 2007, the City will send care packages to Charlie Company 426, the City's Adopted Unit through the America Supporting Americans program. Donations may be dropped off at the lobby of City Hall. Items will be boxed and shipped every four to six weeks until the City receives notification that Charlie Company is being sent home.
American Legion Post #267 Veterans Serve La Habra
For over 80 years, the American Legion Post #267 has served the City of La Habra and those La Habrans who are veterans.
